Claudio Cellucci was the project director and project manager for this new secondary school and childcare facility, in Woodbridge.
The program included a new grades 7-12 secondary school and a three-classroom daycare facility, site development and site servicing. The school building is a two storey, 64,850 sf facility, with a dedicated play area for the childcare facility, separated from the general school population.
The site was occupied by an existing YCDSB elementary school which was demolished prior to the construction of this new facility.
The initial design for this new secondary school included a training facility for the corporate offices. Due to (COVID19) budgetary concerns, this second floor training facility/offices was removed and the design for the secondary school had to be adjusted to suite the new approved ministry funding.
The school was opened to the students on September 2024.
